Organ harvesting is simply defined as the removal of important organs in the body of someone who is willing to give them to be used for another person via transplant in order for this person to survive. It is a fact that doctors remove organs when they are sure that the patient is already brain dead or no chance of survival. When you say brain dead, these doctors make sure that the patient is in this condition after a series of intensive tests. They take out the organs of the person when that person is already dead and they make sure that all the legal papers are signed by someone who is authorized on the person. When some people say that some doctors remove organs while the person is still alive is not true. Clearly, it is a myth. Doctors are ethical enough to make sure that the donor party is willing and there are no problems when it comes to the legality of organ harvesting.
